22 Oct Village Hall – New Fire Doors
We have been awarded a grant of £24,687.92 for replacement fire doors. Our village
hall has a footfall of over 30/00year and the associated Cookley Sports Club housed
in the same building has an additional 33,000 so our doors get a lot of opening and
closing. After 15 years they were starting to show their age and were not fit for
purpose and would have failed the next fire inspection. Severn Waste Services came
to our rescue and provided the money to replace the doors so we can continue to
keep our building open.
