Cookley Village Hall: The Ideal Venue for Your Special Occasion
Cookley Village Hall comfortably hosts up to 100 guests seated at 10 large circular tables, each seating 8 to 10 people, leaving ample room for a dance floor or entertainment area. For evening events, the capacity increases to a maximum of 160 guests.

TERMS
Useful Information
Conditions of use
No alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks are allowed to be brought onto the premises. Anyone seen to be contravening this rule will be required to leave the premises immediately. If they are attending a function the hirer will automatically lose their deposit in full.
If you have food, you or your caterer will be expected to clear all left over food, rubbish, crockery and cutlery. Any crockery or cutlery provided by us will need to be washed and put away and caterers must clear their equipment and take away on the day.
You are welcome to decorate the room but nothing must be attached to the fabric of the building e.g. walls and woodwork. Lighted candles or any other naked flames including incense sticks and smoke machines are not permitted. No bubble machines. Inflated balloons cannot be left in the hall or other function rooms overnight.
Infants under the age of 2 who will not occupy a seat do not need to be included in these numbers. 2 High chairs can be provided by the hall.
We would very much appreciate if guests could pre-book taxi’s so as to minimise the disturbance to our neighbours whilst waiting outside for its arrival.
Payment Terms
The booking is only confirmed with the payment of a refundable security deposit of £300 (£100 for children’s parties) and completion of the wedding booking form. The deposit will be refunded in full within 14 days after the event provided there has been no unacceptable behaviour, damage, missing items, excessive noise, spillages or excessive mess.
The full wedding payment including the balance for any extras is required 28 days in advance of the wedding date. E-mails will be sent to confirm receipt of deposits and full payment.

We do not offer credit facilities.
Cancellation Policy
Wedding cancellation insurance is strongly recommended. Cancellations of bookings must be given in writing (letter or e-mail)

…and will only be effective once confirmed. The Cancellation will be effective from the day of receipt of such notice. If the Hirer needs to cancel a booking, for whatever reason, he/she will then become liable to pay the COMMITTEE a cancellation fee as follows:-
– If cancelled more than 3 months from date of event : 50% of the refundable deposit
– If cancelled less than 3 months to date of event : Loss of 100% of deposit
Use Of Entertainment Providers
We are delighted that you nave chosen our venue as the setting for your function & we will do our utmost to ensure that your event is memorable.
In order for us to satisfy our neignbours & Worcester regulatory, we are obliged to follow recommendations regarding noise pollution and health & safety issues. Entertainment must not exceed Environmental Health decibel levels due to proximity of houses. DJs must connect to the sound system and 4 speakers in the hall for this reason.
An additional deposit is also required for noise monitoring
