Sports & Social Club

Cookley Sports Club is within designated areas of the Cookley Village Hall building providing a welcoming environment for local residents to socialise, relax, and enjoy a variety of activities.

Bowling Green

Cookley Bowling Club started life between 1951 – 1953 thanks to numerous people of the village who designed and laid the grass to what became known as Cookley Bowling Club.

Playground with climbing frames, swings, and a colourful net for children to enjoy.

Children's Play Area

Our play area features a variety of junior play equipment and a natural play zone designed especially for older children.

Our landscaped Picnic Area is thoughtfully designed on a natural slope leading down to the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal.

Angling

Both Cookley Eagles Angling Club and Cookley Angling Society proudly manage fishing activities along the canal within Cookley Playing Fields.
