Playing Fields

The playing area for sports comprises 6.5 acres of grass. In winter this is used for football with 2 adult pitches, a 9 versus 9 pitch and three mini soccer pitches (two of which overlap with the 9 versus 9 pitch). In the summer the playing area is used for cricket. When sport is not being played the area is used for general recreation.

Cookley Playing Fields are home grounds for Cookley Sports FC and Cookley Cricket Club.

The playing fields are also used for music events, beer festival, fetes, carnivals and an annual bonfire night firework display.
