14 Oct Village hall flooring grants
The National Lottery Community Fund has given Cookley Village Hall £20,000 for new hall flooring.
In addition to the £20,000 grant we have received further funding from Bernard Sunley Foundation. They have gifted a £5,000 grant towards this work.
Our Village Hall has a footfall of over 3000 per year from a range of activities and events such has keep fit, yoga, parties, weddings and sports teams.
The old floor was wearing out and with our new grant from Community Fund we have replaced the flooring with new sports oak boards which should last for years to come.
